PAOCS Application Processing: Part 4

STEP 5: FINAL BOARD DELIBERATION

The final part of the processing. Only qualified applicants who passed the PME, PFT and Neuro Exam can proceed to this step. Finally meeting the heads and/or representatives of the army’s various divisions. They were probably a group of 8-10 high-ranking officers and commonly, being held at the Officers’ Clubhouse, a 2-3 storey edifice that is near the base oval and museum. It could be accessed on Gate 2 if you have a military ID and/or gate pass or you could always go for either Gate 1 or Gate 6.

OUTFIT

Same with the initial board interview. You can actually repeat the outfit you wore the last time. The officers who conducted the initial interview would not be the same people you’d be meeting except for Major Calosing (the OIC for recruitment) in our time.

WHAT TO PREPARE

Weeks prior to this day, we read and studied alot of current events from Bangsamoro, West Philippine Sea’s dispute with China, Bayanihan to PDAF Scam and PNoy’s DAP. Though we were only instructed of one-minute introduction, I still suggest to do the same preparation you had on your initial. You never know when the board would do otherwise.

P.S. If you have noticed, I only mentioned my co-applicants’ first names because some of them are fortunate enough and currently having their training in OCS School at Capas, Tarlac. Hence, future Army officers. Moreover, surnames are very important in the military world and do not want to breach that by posting it here.
